In a video posted on Friday, a man at an event related to the Texas Southern Border Convoy criticized the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS) for its role in funding illegal migration across the southern border of the United States.
“The other funder is HIAS. HIAS: The Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society. Jewish, right?” the man said through a microphone on stage. “This is quite interesting because they are actually funding the people that are going to come to places like Fort Lauderdale synagogues and they’re going to scream ‘Allahu Akbar’ and they’re going to shoot the shit out of ‘em, right?”
“And they’re coming across the border and it’s being funded with Jewish money,” the man added.
Ben Shapiro of the Daily Wire is listed as one of the major donors to the pro-Israel organization, with Shapiro’s contribution in the $100,000 to $499,999 donation range, according to the HIAS 2022 Annual Report.
