‘Christ Is King’ Debate Lights Up Twitter on Palm Sunday

A debate about whether or not the phrase 'Christ Is King' is anti-Semitic occupied most of the conversational airwaves on Twitter on Palm Sunday.

Among those who espoused the opinion that the phrase is discriminatory against Jews was the popular Twitter user and "conservative" commentator, James Lindsay.

"Christ Is King' as it is declared, is a sophisticated and manipulative dialectical trap like "Black Lives Matter" and Christians are being baited into it by a few public figures and a band of antisocial troublemakers, likely led by a fed," Lindsay said on Sunday.

Gentile News Network, a tongue-in-cheek moniker for an anti-Zionist Twitter account, responded in turn.

"You, like Jordan Peterson, are a fake intellectual who never says who "they" are. I've heard you say "It's a decentralized cabal of elites" but you never point out the ethnic similarities between them all. You are a gatekeeper for the truth," Gentile News Network said.

Tuesday, James Lindsay went on to say that the phenomenon was an influence operation.

"Them: 'It's just something Christians say.'

No. It's an op," Lindsay said in a tweet.

Don 'The Pleb' Workman responded in turn with another Google Trends graph with the date parameter updated to include a longer timespan. This result showed that the phrase 'Christ Is King' is fluctuated relatively steadily over the past 20 years since 2004.

This author takes a more nuanced frame-of-reference from which to view this subject, and the grift did not stop with "Christ Is King."

If an astute observer of Western politic recalls, it was not until the Tate brothers emerged from incarceration amidst of tidal wave of cancellation did they decide to declare themselves as "religious," with Andrew's declaration for Islam and his younger brother Tristan's allegedly for Christianity.

Tate the elder commented amidst the Palm Sunday hubbub.

"As a Muslim it warms my heart to see the resurgence of spirited Christian declarations. Christ Is King," Tate said. "And I pray Christianity regains its strength and protects its societies against the pervasive and constant erosion of morality by the devotees of Satan."

"If you accept everything you stand for nothing," Tate added.

Tate might as well set up a t-ball stand for CEO of The Daily Wire, Jeremy Boering.

"If you take your cues about morality from a man who uses sex to manipulate women into doing pornography for his profit, and then sells a course teaching others to do the same, all while lying bout his wealth and boasting about his sexual conquests, you deserve the contempt he holds you in for being as foolish as he counts you on being," Boering said

"Why does hearing 'Christ Is King' bother you so much?" former MMA professional fighter Jake Shields asked Boering.

Another popular Twitter account made reference to the recent dismissal by Boering of Candace Owens from the Daily Wire, and one, Rabbi Schmuley.

"Didn't you just fire an employee who got in an argument with a rabbi who sells sex toys with his daughter?" the Twitter user asked rhetorically.

Another Twitter user made reference to the owner of Only Fans, the online sex work marketing and payment service.

"Now do the billionaire owner of OnlyFans, who also happens to be AIPAC's top donor." Twitter user Chris Eagan said. "He literally turns out Americas daughters online, and then uses to proceeds to buy Americas politics [sic.] No problem with that?"

Boering was not the only employee of The Daily Wire to chime in on the "Christ is King' debate. A Daily Wire employee named Frank J. Fleming prompted another response from former MMA fighter Jake Shields.

"With all the people using "Christ is king' to signal Jew-hatred. it feels like Christiniaty has squatters and it is tough to remove them," Fleming said.

"Another guy who works at the Daily Wire is enraged that people are saying Christ is King," Shields stated. "Do you understand who your media serves?"

Fleming describes himself as the "Scripted Creator for Daily Wire and Bentkey kids' shows" and as a "writer for The Babylon Bee."

The Babylon Bee, like The Daily Wire, is owned and operated by Jews.

As of Monday @ 3:54 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST), the following terms were still trending on Twitter: Christ is King, Talmud.
