A civil lawsuit was filed on May 23rd, in the Civil Division of the Circuit Court of Perry County, Arkansas, by Mark Middleton’s widow, Rhea Middleton and his brother, Steven Lawrence Middleton, aka Larry Middleton.

The civil suit was filed via attorney-at-law, Paul Parnell, of the Rose Law Firm – the same law firm where Hillary Clinton worked during Bill’s Arkansas gubernatorial tenure.

The lawsuit stated that “the Defendants may not disclose the Media Content depicting Mr. Middleton’s body or the scene of Mr. Middleton’s death contained within the Perry County Sheriff’s Department’s File,” and that “in order for the Media Content to be disclosed, a party seeking disclosure must affirmatively meet the standard set by the Arkansas and United States Supreme Courts.”

The family filed a petition for an injunction on May 23 seeking a declaration that any 'media content depicting Middleton's body' or the scene of his death should not be disclosed under the FOIA

The lawsuit stated that the Middleton family would “suffer irreparable harm if such materials are disclosed.”

Perry County Sheriff Scott Montgomery made a statement about the alleged suicide.

“He died from a self-inflicted shotgun wound to the chest. He found a tree and he pulled a table over there and he got on that table, and he took an extension cord and put it around a limb, put it around his neck and he shot himself in the chest with a shotgun,” Sheriff Montgomery asserted.

The sheriff stated there because there was not much blood at the crime scene, could could tell the shotgun blast hit him in the chest.

“It was very evident that the shotgun worked because there was not a lot of blood or anything on the scene. You can tell the shotgun blast was on his chest, you can tell that because there is a hole in the chest and pellets came out of the back of his back. It was definitely self-inflicted in our opinion,” Perry County Sheriff Montgomery asserted.

The Middleton family did not disclose his cause of death at the time of the announcement. The only potential hint at a possible cause of death was a request in Middleton's obituary that, instead of flowers, well wishers donate to a service that specializes in counseling and therapy linked to the New Life Church

An anonymous source who was close to Middleton made a statement to the media about his death.

“Everyone that I know here that has worked with Mark knows it is physically impossible for Mark to have killed himself,” Middleton’s former associate said.

“He could not physically hold a shotgun and done that to himself. He knows nothing about guns! He hated guns; he couldn’t have tied a noose to save his life! The man couldn’t change a light bulb by himself,” the former associate of Mark Middleton said. “He was the least physically skilled person I have ever met in my life. He was very smart, great with paperwork, legalities, and all of that but he couldn’t physically take care of himself. [sic.]”

His death scenario is completely implausible to everybody that knew him,” he added.

Middleton had for decades run an air conditioning business in Little Rock but in the 1990s he was a special advisor to Clinton and finance director on his Presidential campaign

The business associate revealed that Mark Middleton remained a “pillar” of the Little Rock, Arkansas elite, the city where he operated his successful heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) business.

“[Mark Middleton] never stopped contact with Clinton – there was no gap,” the business associate said. “Mark was very heavily involved here in Arkansas, especially in these last 10 years, with every kind of board you can imagine, hospitals, banks, very heavily [involved] in politics here.”

The former acquaintance declared that the name, Mark Middleton, was being removed from the internet.

Middleton's cause of death was not revealed

Middleton is not the only former associate of Jeffrey Epstein who has died under suspicious circumstances since the notorious international human, drugs, and weapons trafficker met his own demise in the Manhattan Correctional Center (MCC) in New York City, New York on August 10th, 2019.

Jean-Luc Brunel, the multi-millionaire fashion mogul who was charged with the rape of a minor in France, among other offenses, was found hanged in his prison cell at Le Santé Prison in Paris, France on February 19th. Brunel appeared on the Epstein flight manifests at least 25 times between 1999 and 2005.

Brunel did business with both Jeffrey Epstein and his brother, Mark Epstein, who is the head of the CCP-connected, Humpty Dumpty Institute (HDI), as National File previously reported.

Similar to the death of Jeff Epstein, the Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras in and around Brunel’s prison cell were allegedly dysfunctional, according to the respective publicly appointed law enforcement authorities.

Middleton introduced Bill Clinton to Jeffrey Epstein, and authorized several of Epstein’s visits to the White House during Clinton’s first term.

Mark Middleton is listed in page 76 of Jeffrey Epstein’s Black Book.
